About Us

Our group is dedicated to serving our community by providing a valuable service.  Our membership is growing at a steady pace. With this growth, we have been able to accomplish more, and have a larger impact upon our community. We welcome you with open arms. Please inquire today about how you can become a part of our growing membership.

Our groups are made up of:

• The Chao Phra Ya Junior:  which consisted of apprentices with age ranges from 3 to 18 years old. Witin the Junior group, we also have a combined form of western orchestra and Thai classical music.
• Klong Yao group: which was recently formed in 2009. It consisted of long drums, Thai dancers, and is usually lead the Thai cultural ceremony.
• The Chao Phra Ya group: which is the most disciplined, hard working, and dedicated of the organization. They are the foundation and the heart and soul of  the Chao Phra Ya.

We are under the direction and teaching of Mr. Weera Khachates, whom is our resident vounteered teacher.

We're also very fortunate to have, direct from Thailand,  an annual visiting Thai classical music teacher from the world renown Chula Longkorn University. 

The current 2011 - 2012 Thai music teacher is Kru Boom-Bimh.
