Merit Award Recognition

On top of what our groups do for the Thai community every day, 2009 marks the year that Chao Phra Ya exploded into the International community scene. We have been invited to show case our performances in many of DFW' s festivals and social events, such as, the Tarrant County Asian American Chamber of Commerce's Eggroll festival at Trader's village, Dallas MEED Kid's festival, Garland's Asian American festival, Addison's World Fest, Ms. Asian American of Texas pageant, etc.

With such profound effects onto the International community scence, on December 26, 2009, each of the the Chao Phra Ya member was awarded a merit award of excellence for the contribution to the International community by the Tarrant County Asian American Chamber of Commerce.

We thank you all for recoginizing us. We'd like to thank the support and encouragement from the Buddhist Center of Dallas for giving us this opportunity to preserve and spread the love of Thai classical music.

Most importantly, we'd like to thank the hard work that each of the students and members endure throughout the year to make this happen. Without you, Chao Phra Ya is just a name.

Thank you!
